The ones in the review look like the original T5p (which I own) with a cable mod. The current model is the 2nd generation model which I understand are much improved. Check out current reviews on the second gen model. Just as an aside I quite like my originals although they are a little light on the bass.

I got my T5P.2 a few weeks back but I only use them in the office as I have my HD800S for home use. However, I love them. They're far better than the TH-X00 and every other closed/semi-closed headphone that I used to have.

Would anyone be able to recommend a good/not too expensive and portable DAC for my T5P.2? At the moment I'm running them on a *cowers from embarrassment* Asus Xonar U3. I was thinking about the new AudioQuest Dragonfly Red. I just want a DAC that is going to throw detail at me until my ears bleed!

Chord Mojo for matching this already bright headphone.

There is a big difference between T5p and T5p 2nd gen.

i think the pictures are from 2nd gen unit as it has detachable cable even though its posted under 1st gen section. The date was also recently.

The detachable cable in the pics is different than the gen 2 cable. The other pics also are of the gen 1 unit.

Hi guys, I recently bought a pair of T1.2s which I found quite bright and lacking probably due to me trying to drive them straight out of my Plenue S.  I currently have the Elears and am enjoying them but keep getting drawn to the T5P.2s.  I'm guessing they are easier to drive and would work well straight out of my DAP?  Also, are they warmer than the T1.2s and is soundstage/imaging comparable?

These are not available on the Amazon UK website at the moment, does anybody here know why?

Yesterday I ordered the last sample available in stock at amazon.com
It looks like they're short ins stock everywhere
