Yeah, I'm needing some new music. I've been listening to the same stuff too much and want to see if there is anything else out there I'd like. (I somehow doubt it, though. )

A little list of my favourites.

Kamelot
Children of Bodom
Stratovarius
Within Temptation
Radiohead (mainly OK computer)
Therapy?
Queen
New Model Army
The Clash
Sarah Brightman
Norah Jones

Anything else you think I'd like based on my favourites at the moment?

The Clash to Norah Jones, eh? Kind of wide open

Maybe try some other dark classics from that New Model Army era (and later, but that Cure album is one of my favorites of all time, especially the shorter and more concise vinyl version) ...

The Sound - From The Lions Mouth
Joy Division - Closer
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms
The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge
Wire - Chairs Missing
The Cure - Disintegration

Also, maybe try my favorite from last year, Wovenhand Mosaic, but maybe listen first. Many words around here about it.

haha I know. I don't like to listen to too much of the same music or I get kind of tired of it. So, I like to try all different genres.

I'll try those bands you suggested. I had a little listen to The Cure on youtube and I quite enjoyed it.

Thank you!

Great recommendations, but to be honest for Joy Division I prefer "Unknown Pleasures" to "Closer" and for Wire, I prefer "Pink Flag" to "Chairs Missing".

Perhaps:

Kamelot
Stratovarius
--------------
= Heavenly, Rhapsody, Dragonland

Within Temptation
------------------------
= Tristania, just none of the newer albums. Beyond the Veil, perhaps.

Children of Bodom
-------------------
= Dark Tranquillity, In Flames and many many more

I'd recommend using http://www.pandora.com/ to find music similar to the music you listen to.

Sounds like you're seeking more sophisticated music than Children of Bodom, Within Temptation, Kamelot and simliar, but if you like Within Temptation, you should probably check out Tristania - Beyond the veil.
