Hello everybody
 
I am debating whether I should buy HE-400 or Sennheiser 650 or maybe something else, budget around 500$, nothing too high end.
I'm very open to suggestions, I've had a couple of headphones I don't know much about it.
I listen to Electronic music, some kind of bass-y stuff, as well as play a bunch of video games I do have an amp.
To be more specific, I do also like to listen to trance, any kind of melancholic music drum and bass and so on.

I'd say the HE 400's are pretty great for electronic music. I think I have read other comments & reviews that concur.

I listen to a lot of dubstep, chillstep, psytrance kinda stuff and the HD650's sound amazing with everything I've thrown at it in my opinion. From classical to metal to electronic, I find the HD650's do everything well. I think it's more dependant on what kind of sound signature you're looking for. I've used Shure SE535's for almost two years, and I found the HD650's had the closest signature to them (lush mids!!!) so that's why I went with the HD650's.

Between those two, the HD650 is warmer and more relaxed sounding, whereas the HE-400 is more energetic.
