i have my RCA cables, Twoer speakers and a Pyramid studio pro equalizer.... what am i missing? i plug in the RCA's to the TV, to the EQ, and then to the Speakers. do i have to have a VCR or something in there? what other ways are there to bypass the front speakers of the TV?

Are those active speakers? If those RCA on your TV are line-out and you don't have active speakers you're missing an amp.
