Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers! I'm in a bit of a jam. I'm relatively new to the whole audiophile game and just wondering if some of you would be kind enough to help me out with a quick decision. I've been scouring eBay for a decent LOD to use with my amp/iPod. I am currently using a Fiio made LOD and figured my setup might benefit from a better dock. I have found 3 that I'm seriously considering. My budget is about $40 (I'm not a die hard Audiophile, just enjoy some great sounding music) I don't know much about the quality of the materials used so any assistance in choosing the best one for for my money would be awesome :) Here are the links:

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have about 5 LODs, if i was to start again i would just buy a silver lod with an angled plug. Something like in your first link- though i dont know the quality of that particular product.

Copper is nice for warm, but afer. While one begs for clarity.

I have plugged a Furutech ADL iD30PA, the 30pin to USB-A, model into my Fostex HP-P1. I noticed immediately while wiggling the thing about a bit that the connection is volatile. Not so much that it's a problem for me, however if you were to bend it about it disconnects more easily than the plain vanilla Apple job or the Fostex supplied very plain vanilla looking piece.

That aside, it adds a fine level of extension to the wonderfully delicate and musically engaging HP-P1. It's early days for me with this but I can say absolutely no night and day result. When I swap the interconnects I simply miss the ADL. So what does this come down to ... that little added extra I appreciate. I would also recommend silver, wonderful stuff for audio, but be careful it can bite back sometimes.

Some of the custom LOD interconnects I've seen are very neat and handmade is usually luxurious.
