Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of updating my headphones from the hd 280 pro headphones and have deciced to buy the hd 650's since I listen to alot of genres in music. I have an asus xonar d2x sound card with apprently has decent dac and adc converters, only thing my sound card is lacking is an headphone amp.

Want something to power my hd650 when I get them. Would the FiiO E09K be an excellent headphone amp to power these headphones fully? And if I upgrade in the future or what would you recommend getting I can buy the FiiO E09K for around 85AUD.

Is this the one you are referring too..? Seem to lack plugin support unlike that FiiO amp with has rca support so I can use the analogue spdif connections on my soundcard, seems kinda pointless me buying if its both a dac/amp when my soundcard is more than enough. Price wise seems quite steep too, anyone else got there input on what a suitable amp is and what about the one I have linked?
