Soon will have the iFi iDSD Micro DAC and plan to use it at work listening to a combination of lossless (flacs) and streaming internet audio.
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD25 studio headphones which I use mostly on set ( I do a lot of camera-film work) and also in the office because of their ability to cancel room -ambient noise.
For pure sonic bliss I also occasionally listen to my 10 year old Grado SR125's.
But technology changes, and I assume, improves, especially in the area of headphones and I am due for an upgrade.
Given my tastes, listening habits and the fact that I will be using a decent USB DAC shortly, can anyone make a few suggestions to cans I should listen to?
Love the look of the new Urbanite XL's, but haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, guessing a step down in audio quality from the grado's?
Just wish Grado would fix that cord! Feels like a power cord around my neck.
