Hey I'm in college and I'm looking for DJ headphones to start out with, I've only used other people's headphones until now and I need to get a pair for myself. These are the ones I've narrowed down to. And unles the ultrasone dj1 is much better I don't know if I want them since they seem to be significantly more expensive.

What is your budget for buying new headphones? 
 
What equipment will you be plugging into? 
 
You'll probably be better off with closed headphones in a dorm or around campus. Are these headphones also for portable use?

The Shure SRH750dj's are good cans for djing purposes, most of my friends say they are excellent for mixing/monitoring.
