I need a new DAP. All I care about is SQ (and Battery Life). I do not need BT, Streaming and other things.

Im after a relaxed involving Sound with good resolution and good Soundstage. I have tried Fiio X7ii and i absolutely didnt liked the Sound. Not musical and analogue enough. AK KANN i did not liked also. Had a Shanling M5s für two weeks. Nice device but Sound was a bit like the Fiio.

The shop also had a Acoustic Research M2 which sounded really good. But it was way too powerfull für IEMs. At the moment i have a Pono Player and if i buy somethink new, it should sound better... .

Any ideas?

You can check the warmer FiiO X5 3rd Generation which has twin AKM AK4490 DACs (instead of ESS SABRE 32 ES9028PRO) and pick "Super Slow Roll Off" in the Lowpass Filter settings. What headphones are you using?
