I'm a fairly new member of Team "Sorry About Your Wallet", but in that time my collection of headphones has grown from the crap that came with the player to the AKG K81DJs, Sennheiser PX-100s (older model), Koss KSC75s, and Audio Technica A700s. I love something different about all of the signatures of those headphones, but have yet to own a real entry-level "high fi" set. Now, I have the HD580s on my way, which are purportedly a good set of entry-level high-end cans. The cans are used and have already been burned in. While I'll be using the same sources and will only be looking at amps down the road, what can I expect from these cans considering my background thus far? Yet again I find myself excited at the prospect of new headphones arriving, but hey, at least these were a trade and not a jab to my wallet. Thanks.
