My phone sounds pretty good in comparison to my FiiO E17 and drives my headphones quite well for my needs, so I have no use for an external DAC. The built in music player plays back 24/192 just fine, and I know many inexpensive DACs support hi res audio (even cheap built in realtek laptops), is there any way to tell whether the dac itself supports this sampling rate? Would it play back hi-res files in the native android player if it didn't?
