I dont know why but the highs and mids in my hd 598 hurts my ears.
My soundcard is a audigy 2 zs...
Buyed these today cause i wanted better sound to my computer.
When comparing these to my noontex zoro, theres no big difference in sound quality.
I am very dissatisfied with how the hd 598 sounds and i wonder is there any ways to fix it?

The Audigy 2 ZS does not come with a headphone amplifier and chances are the headphone/line-out jack has a high impedance.

Get an Asus Xonar DG, $30 and there is a $10 mail in rebate this month
DG comes with a basic head amp and the headphone/line-out jack's impedance should be lower.
The DG is a low cost way of trying(?) to improve the HD598's audio quality.

Is there anything else around you could plug the HD598s into, just to see if the problem is with what your plugging the headphones into and not the headphones themselves.
