This is torture. I am 100% satisfied with my set up and have no complaints but as soon as they come out I know I am ordering these, selling the prime, and buying a vanquish cable as well just to visually complete them. Unless the dum cable is cloth then I will keep it.

I'll probably end up selling my Alpha Dog to help fund my Ether C if I do a good comparison and find the Ether C significantly better (which will end up being the case.) Looking forward to the San Diego Head-fi meet in November!!

I remember hearing before the SchiitShow that the DUM Cable was specifically designed for the ETHER C.  The DUM Cable doesn't feel like cloth or rubber.  It is a nicely constructed cable.   Subtly understated with a slight see-through sheen.
