Hi All. After a very long hiatus I am slowly getting back into the head-fi world. After much research in terms of sonic signature, music preferences, etc. my targets have been set on the Audeze LCD2. However, what has also been playing on my mind is delving into custom IEM's which I have not owned before.
I think my main question is whether the sonic experience of the upper tier headphones can be matched (and/or surpassed) by custom IEMs, and if there are any caveats I should be aware of when moving to IEMs? Currently my eyes are set on the JH|11, JH|13 or JH|16 - probably mated with the JH3A amp.
