I'm really getting sick of my stupid logitech headset for cs'n, etc.. so i was thinking.. wow, it'd be great if i could modify a cheap headset and move the microphone over to the akg's.

I'm confident i can find a way to mount it, but i was wondering if you knew of any microphones that would work well for this. I don't want to use a normal desktop one because of the distortion they create when you talk very close to them. Could i remedy that by simply covering it w/ foam?

You could get a lapel Mic and just clip it to the cord.

I use one from zaleman, its decent for TS. I believe i paid $8 for it
