Listening to Blessing 2 paired with Questyle M15. After EQ, the mid is so good and silky. The only thing missing the airy treble. Hopefully, moondrop will add an EST driver to the Blessing. I tried the Variations but the sub bass was too much.
B2 can handle EQ like a champ. I highly recommend slapping a 3-5dB boost to 16kHz. Though the treble is not as resolving as some newer set, the extra airiness and sense of micro detail is quite nice.
I use moondrop Kato and I accidentally turned the volume to 100 percent on my ibasso dx170. I think it's power output is around 450mw. Now I am worried if that has damaged my Kato. I can't notice any obvious difference in sound though.
So how much power is too much for Kato?

If you had damaged some drivers you would notice it immediately... and anyway don't worry too much about the iems... you can also throw them away and buy them again... your ears don't.

I honestly don't know... but I think if you screwed up something you'd know immediately. A driver that doesn't sound unbalances all the sound... you can't not hear it... go easy.
IEMs can take quite a bit of volume before they conk off. If you ever burst your IEMs with blaring loud levels, yours ears might damage but not the IEMs as easily. If you ever blow your IEMs, you'll know for sure. So, don't worry! Your IEMs are fine!

Generally, DDs are more hardy than BAs when it comes to excessive volume.
I spoke to a manufacturer before, and they say usually it takes a prolonged stimulus of excessive dB to damage the voice coil of the DD. We are talking about multiple minutes to hours instead of a few seconds. Most likely your DD in the Kato should be okay, but you can do some frequency sweeps on youtube to check both channels if the DD is okay from 20 Hz - 20 kHz (not sure how good is your hearing until).
Usually if there is a damaged driver, one side may have channel imbalance in some frequency bands. If the DD is blown, you might hear some buzzing or scratching or distorted sound, it is quite obvious.
Most of the time less than 100mw for your IEM is loud enough… The extra space are for portable cans and those high impedance stuff.
And just like others said, if you didn’t hear a difference, luckily it didn’t broke. Damage caused by large volumes is usually immediately noticeable.
