Wouldn't the Super.fi 5's be better since they are dual driver?

I bet the Gold blow the SF5pro out of the water. The SF are not refined, have mediocre clarity and transparency. Bass is not bad, but there is a midbass hump. Mids are coloured and treble lacks refinement, and they are sibilant.
Haven't heard MTPG, but IE8 are supposed to be pretty close and they wipe the floor with the SF, imo.
