You know, Monster is not the only company that markets Tron. It's the work of Disney and it is intense how they are marketing right now.

There are $795 sandals made to market Tron. Quorra Platform sandals by Jerome Rousseau. Look it up.
There's $400 necklaces by TomTom designed to market Tron. The list goes on to luxury purses and anything that is electronic.

So you got the Tron headphones, Tron necklaces and some Tron sandals. Now all you need to be all pimped out is a Tron helmet to wear around. This would serve two purposes. The first obviously being to look like a character in the movie, the second being to protect you from every day activities because of the tard you are. The word "You" is used as a subject rather than a specific person. It's to get my point across that anyone who spends that much money on Tron wearable memorabilia needs a helmet.

Let's cut to the chase.  Peoples problem is not with Monster (QC or CS issues are another unrelated matter).  It's with marketing and the idiots in our society who follow the latest trends blindly.  That's what people who bash on Monster are really upset at.  Monster serves up bling because that's what the people want and Monster makes no attempt to hide it.  Unlike Bose that runs ridiculously long commercials to directly target 'audiophiles'.  90% of Monster phones are targeting sheep.  That's like blaming the wolf because the lamb didn't run.  FYI, you can buy a new set of Beats w/ your Kim Kardasian card.  Nuff said.

Monster really knows how to market headphones to kids with money, I'll tell you that.  As soon as kids catch on that there exists such a thing as Google and Head-Fi, Monster is in for a serious world of hurt.

it's not just kids, many adults buy a pair as a gift for their kids because they have no experience so they assume the most expensive is the best

monster has so many genius developers, designers and advertising specialists on their team, its sick.  Their beats line was so popular with normal kids and the general public.  102 replies on this topic alone in an audiophile community, the buzz around all their products is immense and even if it sounds like crap, it will sell a lot lol
