OK, well don't mod mine, mod your own, and if it is cool I will have it done as well.
I personally do not find the look if the HE-6 to be attractive. I find the way the ear cups attach to the headband to look cheap. It feels sturdy, but does not look good in my opinion. I would love to see someone replace basically everything except the cups. I don't want to go messing with their amazing sound. I think the top half of the LCD-2 looks nice, though I dislike the foam headband. I worry it will deteriorate. I have seen some cool things done to the Grados.
I know less people own these, but someone out there must own these, the HE-5, HE-5LE, or HE-4 and be adventurous.
