Hi, has anyone tried the Tungsten with the Cayin HA-300 MKII? On what settings? And is there enough headroom? I am going for the DS version.

Would really like to try a 300B tube amp.

I generally like the harman over ear target, so it makes sense to me that I love the Ultra Perf with a bass shelf in EQ, they are already most of the way there!

I included links to his suggested EQ params in the post, if your asking for my personal tweak on those, will have to wait til they get back from Austria!

Edit: I’d say for a minimal EQ version I’d just add the low shelf bass boost, band 2, from the pdf. That’s basically how I was EQing mine before I handed them off

Thank you for your impressions of the Tungsten’s. I have mine coming next month. How do they pair with the Eddie Current 300B compared the CFA3? Does the 300B have enough power for the Tungsten?

Unfortunately, I didn't compare directly as I feed the Studio B into the CFA3. Based on my observations w/the Studio B and the Susvara, I'd think the amp would nearly be at it's limit in terms of optimal sound and headroom for the Tungsten. But again, I haven't compared.

Depends, I doubt it'll continue taking 5 months though because Ryan started taking less orders per drop and up until March he was still dealing with pre-orders alongside regular orders at a higher volume, so the queue will start to naturally decrease.

Any Mimic Audio buyers here got their Tungsten cans delivered? Are Mimic buyers also looking at being serviced in the same time, or are we going to have to wait much longer? I'm fine with it, just wanna know.
