Not sure if this is the right thread, but when I bounce my mixes to Apple Lossless (or any other format) in Logic, they are noticeably louder when played back in iTunes, than they are when played back in Logic. Why is this?
I've checked that 'sound check', 'enhancer' etc. are all off in iTunes. The only thing I can think of is that having the iTunes volume on full is not actually 0.0db as is the widely accepted opinion on here, and that it is actually adding db (as it does in Logic - setting the master volume to Full in Logic is +6.0db).
Help! Thanks!
