Hi

I'm in the market for an upgrade to my Fiio E5 amp for use with my ER4S and iPod Classic (6th gen) via line out.

I've read a few reviews in here that indicate the MiniBox E+ is a good match with the Etys, but I'd value any thoughts you might have on that before I commit to easing my wallet burdon even further.

yes buy it. I've got the combo and it sounds so great I've "dedicated" the Minibox for use only with my Etys

Might also want to do a search for Mrarroyo's lengthy thread and review on the subject.

But a good buy for the etys. And don't forget: the Minibox was designed around the Ety with bass boost and P to S switching

Thanks for the positive response.

Is the Mini-Box with iPod Classic a truly portable combination? Looks a little large in the pics, but I guess as with most things in life, what looks large on the internet aint necessarily so in real life
