Alright, so I received my opamp today. I de-soldered the opamp that was on the board but I also (accidentally) de-soldered part of the silver padding that was on the board. Is it ok for me to continue? or is my mini^3 permanently broken?

Should be fine. Worst case scenario, you'll need to hard wire using some wire and/or resistor lead clippings.
