Has anyone heard these two together? I'm wondering if this combination is more amp than source. I'm thinking of getting the microZOTL as my first tube amp, and I think I'll wait if I'll need to also get a better source to realize this amp's potential.

The chances of finding someone who has heard this particular combination is rather small. The ZOTL can sound fine with a low-cost CDP, and NAD can be pretty good. It won't sound bad. However, the ZOTL will reflect improvements you make in your source down the road.
