 Hope this is the right place to post this.
 
I'm torn between the IFI Micro iDSD, The Chord MOJO and the FIIO X7 for a portable setup.
 
I will be using it with LCD3's and Shure SE846
 
Price a non issue between all three. non factor.
 
Portability I consider the same for all three. non Factor
 
I want the best SQ and the ability to drive my LCD3.
 
I'll use a Samsung note for transport for the IFI and MOJO.
 
At the moment leaning towards the MOJO.
 
Any advise is very welcome.

i have micro and mojo , but only use them as desktop dacs.
used in this way , i cannot separate them sonically.
as for portability, i dont need it, but if i did there is no way the micro is going in my pocket! mojo ,hands down on that one.
i only have an x1 for portable use so cannot comment on the x7.

I love the bells and whistles on the IDSD rumors have it that the mojo has slightly better SQ.

bought the X7, I guess I can pair that later with a mojo or Idsd from all the research I did, Mojo seems to be the way to go. Unless you need the power of the amp section of the IDSD to drive your cans.

i doubt you will need any portable amp with that.
