Maybe I just missed it inside of this HUGE site, but I have no idea where everyone is. I don't really know many people "in the know" around here, kinda puts a damper on my love of music.

Is there a section to find where anyone nearby is aside from the meet thread? If not, shouldn't there be?

That other audio site (the BIG one) has such a feature, but this one does not. Just keep an eye on people's location under their avatar, go to meets, and make some audio buddies.

There definitely should be. We DO have a member list

But it does not list locations. Might be cool to have it there then allow some searching of the list (even though it's huge).

When planning a local meet, I'm always amazed how many people live close enough to attend.

I thought that, but from the looks of it, there will be one large blob for cali, and a lot of info in this map. Though, it could work.
