How in the world do I rip a 2 disc CD so that both discs end up being in one folder?

Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts for example. I just want all 36 songs in one Ghosts folder. I don't want one folder for I - II and another for III - IV.

No matter how I try to rename things it seems something gets messed up. Typically it will play like Song 1 Disc 1, then Song 1 Disc 2, then Song 2 Disc 1, then Song 2 Disc 2, etc etc etc.

What am I doing wrong?

I had this problem once. I ripped my second and third CD to temporary directories then used "Renamer" to add the track numbers to the beginning of the file starting with the next sequential number from the first CD. It's a batch filename utility that is easy to learn. Give it a try.

There might be a better way that includes changing some preferences in your ripper, but I use EAC and there wasn't anything relevant that I could find.
