hey there, its been a few days i had my ideas to plug my headphone through my TV to get my sound from TV/PS3 how ever i didnt have any headphone input so i went for a RCA Y TO 3.5mm and though it would fix my issue but i tryed via my computer for trying(wont use it for that when i have a good sound card already) but notice the volume was very low, i even pushed the volume at the max and it didnt matter, same happen on PS3 and on my TV

could this mean i need a amp to get a volume control over what i want? also it could be used for PC and Ds eventually

thanks for your answer and hope to get a hand

check with multiple other post(and google off course) im not a audio specialist has you can see (heh but i have played maybe 4 times more video games that you might did do

) and last try was headphone with volume or extension with volume-in (amazon is terrible for giving such ideas) and all my hopes were right, it doesnt work

now im pretty sure the only way is a AMP correctly?

ps: side-question, headphone would be better plugged via soundcard(onboard) or via speaker(logitech has a headphone plug that can be connected via the volume controller)
