Marshall Major vs Sennheiser HD428 vs Sony XB700(SEE LAST POST)

If you're buying from Stereo, I think they have a sale now, M50 for $210 or something, not sure.

Grado SR60/SR80 have bass, not too deep, doesn't rumble, good for rock songs. Get the SR60,
the SR80 is overpriced and they sound the same (ime). Either that or you can try whatever Ultrasone
you can get your hands on at the shop that is less than 200 SGD.

I might hook them up online. Both Stereo and Jaben are too far. Well, not Jaben but....

Yeah, I heard M50 have seriously recessed mids. Their bass, though, are perfectly flawless. Tempting xD I am actually thinking of getting the HD428 or Marshall Major. Both are bad?

HD428 is one of the better $100 headphones they're selling. If you like bass, try the HD438.
Marshall Major are not very popular because they're not really made by Marshall, they were made by another company that makes UrbanEars iirc.

Anyways Singapore's a very small island. Just go try and hear for yourself.

scratch the Major, it doesnt worth $100
sony XB700 is a lot of fun, sony V6 is a very good headphone and very fun sound. if you can get the ATH ES7, it sounds very good too and it looks shinny beautiful, also very portable.

Should I try the HD428 first then get the Grados? Because the HD428 costs less than $200 and I can use the rest to buy an amp online.
Not that I am really IN NEED of bass, I just want it to be just enough.

Strange. I thought I typed my response. Anyway...

I thought the Marshall Major is a pretty decent HP. But that aside, I am not IN NEED of bass. Just enough to make meh happy. I'm thinking of buying HD428 because it's less than $200 and I can use the rest to buy an amp online.

Okay nvm. Well, actually, I might just pick up that Denon DN HP700 again if I decided to buy online. And why is Marshall bad? Because it's made by a bad company?
