I just thought this was kind of amusing, in an "I'm an elitist and proud of it" sort of way. A lot of people are proud of their Beats and Skullcandies and Bose headphones, evidently. I posted the comment about my DT880. My SRH440 fared less well--though it has similarly linear extension (take that, HeadRoom chart!) as the DT880, it breaks up at around 70Hz (!) and again from 40Hz down to DC. As I explained in my comment, a better thing to look for in this test is how smooth the extension is, not just the lower limit. Good headphones will be even or gradually softer in volume all the way down, whereas lesser cans will be lumpy and distorted.
How 'bout you folks? How's your bass extension?
