Didn't find anyone mentioning these here. I was pleasantly surprised of Mackies MC-250, probably one of the best tuned closed headphones i heard in my head-fi life. The new MC-450 is an open headphone for studio use:
The pricepoint is 299€ which i guess translates to 299$ in the US. I found one review in german which was released 1 week ago:

The good things first, the above review states a perfomance reaching higher priced open headphones.
The bad thing, it seems to have more treble then the AKG K812, which could be too much for some, me included. Also i'm not a fan of the plastic build. The MC-250 is very durable, but it just doesn't feel or look that good. I'll try them out nevertheless.
