Ok,  I've been using my M50s daily now for the past week with my ipod/ pa2v2 headphone amp with great results, very happy with them, big improvement over my previous cans which were the M30s; hello low end!  So tonight I finally got around to plugging them into my Marantz 1060, while tuned to my favorite jazz station pulled in by a high-end denon tuner, and geez louise, it is sonic bliss.  Yes, I know these headphones are very easy to drive, even my ipod without the headphone amp seems to do the job, but there is something to be said with feeding them some nice clean power from a proper amp.
 
Anyway, just wanted to say my happiness with these have been raised to a new level. I think I'm staying up late tonight until my ears fall off.
