hey guys,
im on the hunt for a threaded male to female or male (i dont care) mini jack. it can come on a cable (preferably less than 6") or just be a terminal for me to make my own cables. it can even be on an adapter (male to male, male to female).
the key is that i have somethng (cable, terminal, adapter, whatever) that has a male mini jack on it with a threaded base. i want to be able to tap out a hole in a metal block and be able to mount the jack into the block easily.
an example is the end of the cable that comes with the sony mrd-cd580's or the AKG K 301 XTRA (never heard of them myselve but i found them while searching at google).
you can kind of see the terminal im talking about in a picture found here:

you can see that in this case the reason its threaded is so you can screw on the 1/4" adapter.
