Cans I own:
Audio Technica ATH M50WH - Good airplane headphones
Superlux HD681 - Unbelievable for the price
AKG K701 - Comfort, Sounstage, Sounds like everything is in the room with you. Bass is super lame.  Also, the best looking headphones ever made IMO.
Shure SRH-440 - Horrible pieces of crap

All powered with a Fiio E17

Have access to:
Sennheiser HD-598 - Similar to the AKGs, the bass was actually clipping on these.  Scared me.
Audio Technica ATH-AD700 - Ugly, sound pretty good.  Don't remember them that well.

Have tried:
Ultrasone 780 - So unbelievably uncomfortable.  I think they were decent, but I couldn't stand them on my head for more than a minute. ATH M50's are better all around IMO.

Genres (In order of most listened to)
Dubstep
Hiphop
Rock
Pop.

My Question
The Superlux sub-bass is awesome.  Its not punchy and annoying, but you know its there.  Other than that I like everything else about the AKG's.  But they just make my favorite genres sound flat and lame.

I'm thinking of returning the AKG's if there's a better alternative out there for me.  Thoughts?
