Im looking for the "best" KOSS  in ear headphones. Im woundering if  http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/p?openform&pc^eb^CC_01 is the best choice out of all the options at KOSS or should i go for a different set of in ear headphones. i wouldn't mind the beat tours but the warrenty sucks its 1 year compared to a life time at KOSS. Any opinion would be good

I believe the kde 250 was well recieved and could be an alternative if you don't need isol;ation, but they are discontinued.

I've listened to the CC_01 and own the KDE/250. The CC_01 has sibilance, and sounds like a typical tinny earbud. I'm pretty sure it's not the seal, because I use Etymotics regularly, and am quite good at telling when my ear canal is sealed. Pushing the CC_01 in did not help, even though it was 'sealed.' The KDE/250 however, is a completely different story. It has tons of thick bass and mid-bass, very thick saturated midrange, and smooth treble. If you want something the can pump out lots of bass and still have clear and understandable vocals, the KDE/250 is the way to go. After using them for about a year, I decided I liked the FR of Etymotics instead, and now mainly use the Mc5.
