Hi all,
I have the Westone UM2 IEMs, and I really love them. But, I've been looking to get a pair of on ear or over ear headphones. I am on a budget, though I am willing to go on ebay and buy used ones as well. What I'm looking for is something that would make my alterative rock, acoustic rock, and acoustic vocals sound really intimate and amazing. I'm looking for that wow factor, paired with clear hearing of instruments. I don't know if that makes sense. Some examples of what I listen to: The Script, Gin Blossoms, The Fray, Sugar Ray, Mat Kearney, The Wallflowers, The Killers, Young the Giant, and Lifehouse.
I prefer headphones that do not leak sound, as I will be using them in public spaces. In addition, I don't really like gigantic headphones. I realize that the bigger often means better sound quality, but I don't think I would spend the money on cans that look overly ridiculous in public.
Let me know if you guys have any recommendations. Thanks!
