I've tried the usual shopping comparison sites, dealnews, etc. but haven't been able to find a good price on a shipped Sennheiser 280 Pro from any online dealer that's anywhere close to reputable.

Anyone out there run across any good deals lately?

I believe they are still 70 shipped from amazon. Or 100 from headroom with rock-solid return policy

yeah, they were 70 shipped, and sennheiser had a $10 rebate (don't know if it's still going)

They weren't when I checked last night (pity, that would be a sweet deal). Thanks though.

Worst case, I guess I could always wait out the sales or something.. there seem to be a lot of them. That or pay ~$100 for them, but I don't wanna...

what you do is go to froogle.com find the cheapest place there

Find guitar center close by and price match with them. + you can get $10 off from sennheiser. Rebate still is on amazon.com I think.

Somebody else post this on the forum before not sure who though.

There's no Guitar Center anywhere near me, or else I would have a new 280 in my hot little hands at this very moment.

Closest big city is Phoenix.. about 150 miles from here. (And I have no car, to boot.)
