I currently run a Ray Samuels Audio Emmeline XP-7 headphone amp (with OPA627AP op amps) as well as a Musical Fidelity X-CAN v2 (totally stock) to drive Denon AH-D2000 headphones. I find the Denon's to be extremely comfortable and the sound is detailed and dynamic with both amps.

I recently acquired a universal player with XLR outputs (Esoteric DV-60) and I started wondering how it would sound in balanced mode.

Are there any nice amps out there ($1,000.00 USD or less) with balanced inputs that excel driving Denon cans?

Thanks!

less than $1000, but a better single ended amp. the denons scale exceptionally well with the amp.

Which amp? Thanks.
