Hi,

I need to use headphones more for the unforeseeable future…

I got a pair of Sennheiser HD 600 (like them a lot) already and can take a DAC from my stereo setup (Atoll Electronique DAC200 Signature)

I want an amp without DAC that is good enough so it won’t be the weak link, even if I buy more expansive headphones or DAC.

What could be a nice pick? I tend to prefer fuller and more musical stuff over analytical gear that tend to sound bright.

I do not know in what price range I have to play, what is good enough?

I have now tried it. It sounds quite good, clean and musical, maybe but a bit flat though. I'm around 50 of 80 on the volume.

Thanks, but I would like to have SS and something a bit higher/better than JDS Atom.

Could Lake People G108 for example be a good choice?

Since you have the Sennheiser HD-600, either the Violectric HPA V202 or the Violectric HPA V222 is an excellent choice - and will work happily with lower impedance headphones and with upscale DACs.

The Dynalo amp I posted is in your budget. Was on my very shortlist (that particular kind) when looking for an amp. The user have very nice upgrades into it from the standard build.
