Hi, after having this wonderful headphone for around a year, my only complaint is the length of the included cable. I am curious if there is an inexpensive option thay would be short enough for portable use. I have no experience that would be useful in a DIY solution, so a premade or beginner level solution would be highly appreciated. I understand that there are cables that outcost the headphone itself, so by inexpensive I just mean the cheapest routes. Thanks in advance!

So far, the least expensive routes I've seen are ebay for around $50 and amazon for around $80, but no clue if either of these are any good.

I done some searching myself as i will be wanting a shorter cable (My HE400 arrives tomorrow ).  Here's a couple, Furutech upgrade cable for Hifiman HE-400 HE-500 HE-5 HE-6 Black Red White | eBay  and  1 2M Hifiman He 5 He 6 He 400 He 500 Headphone Cable Furutech Upgrade Cable | eBay . I've NO idea of what to expect from these, no reviews  to be found, and i've no experience. If you do find something  let us know please and good luck.

i dont know how much you are looking to spend but if you spend 50 or 80.00 on something you arent sure of, i would rather spend a little more get something im sure of, you know what i mean
