Hello all,
So I recently bought Legend-Rs, and I don't foresee myself upgrading to another headphone any time soon (maybe another CIEM in the future.. but that's another thread!)  I previously upgraded from ATH-CK10s, which by their own right are amazing IEMs.  But I've noticed that both my phone and laptop have noisy backgrounds that I didn't hear with the CK10s.  I'm looking for a portable DAC/AMP solution that has a neutral to a hair bright of neutral signature.  My own research has led me to Leckerton models, but I have no idea what the alternative chips sound like or what they do to the amp.

Any help is appreciated.  Cheers!

You might want to look at the Meier PCStep, here's one review I found with the search function: http://www.head-fi.org/t/732557/a-comparison-review-meier-audio-corda-pcstep-vs-hrt-microstreamer-vs-fiio-e10k
