Hello i have been reading many posts in here the last few days and thought this IS a good place as any to ask some questions??
i want to make my own cable however i am having some confusion on the 30 pin dock connector pin placement
i have seen two different pictures of the pin assignment and that"s what has me confused.
The male dock connector's internal pin numbering:
http://nuxx.net/wiki/iPod_Dock_Connector
and this one
http://pinouts.ru/PortableDevices/ipod_pinout.shtml
so if i need pins 2,3,4,11,15,21 which ones are they
i would assume with the connector plugged in to my itouch looking at my screen like i normally would when plugging it in
that pin# 1 is on the top set of pins like in the example above am i right to assume this???
i would hate to fry my itouch or even my amp (fiio e11) i have done my share of soldering but the pins must be right, lol can anyone help me with this question??
