I’ve been on Head-Fi since 2004 (previously under a different username) and haven’t seen much visibility for my fellow LGBTQ audiophiles or artists. For this year’s Pride month, I thought I’d create a thread in which all Head-Fiers (and LGBTQ folks in particular) can share info on LGBTQ artists they listen to and support. LGBTQ artists sometimes don’t get the recognition they deserve, so let’s tip each other off to great music from musicians we’ve discovered who could use more listeners and attention.

I’ll start things off with synthpop/alt rock band Man On Man, a two-man (ha!) band that includes the keyboardist from Faith No More. They have a self-titled album out from 2021 that they’re currently promoting on a US tour.

There's also the dream pop/alt rock band Deerhunter, led by Brandford Cox. Their 2010 album, "Halcyon Digest," is a classic.
