Hey folks,

Looking for some advice on what LCD or Plasma to purchase. I'm an audio guy who knows absolutely nothing of video. I've tried reading over stuff at AVS but there is way too much disorganized information to weed through.

I'm looking for something in a 42", something that's a good value (no mega expensive sets) and something that can be purchased at a Best Buy/Circuit City or Crutchfield.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

If you can access Costco, they have the Sceptre Komodo 42" LCD at $999 + tax shipped. Hard to beat this deal.

Olevia 42" LCD HDTV Television had the highest score for that size in recent consumer reports. beat all the big name brands. i would check that out.
