I just received the October issue, and thought people might be interested to see the latest rankings regarding headphones & amps.

Class A:
Cary Audio Design CAD 300 SEI

They did note that there were no Class D headphone related components. But the jump to K? No clue.

That's what Stereophile notes in its explanation of each class, but what the hell happened to all the letters between E an K?

Because if they used "F" it would imply "below E" -- by using a letter that is clearly disconnected, its meaning is less confusing
