Hello,

can someone tell me if the inner lug is for v+ on the kobiconn dc power jack (163-1025)?

i know you can test it with a multimeter but i don't know the exact procedure. maybe someone has that info also?

thanks.

kin0kin's got it... its all about the jack's polarity. It seems to me like most jacks are center positive... but it isn't consistent enough to trust!

thank you guys for the info and thank you mister.x for the link.

EDIT:

so i tested it out, my power supply BTW is the Elpac WM080, and the inner lug is indeed positive.

As they should be. Why would you want a your DC rail exposed to the open, just waiting to short?
