Finally, I thought that corporate America had gotten it right and had recognized the damage being done to young audiophile ears and the slow and gradual erosion of music fidelity and appreciation, when the NFL fined Colin Kaepernick $10 000 for wearing Dr Dre Beats.  But alas, my hope was short-lived.  It turned out to be, as Steppenwolf on their Slow Flux album aptly coined in the song …...“A Fools Fantasy”. Apparently Bose recently took over as the NFL’s new headphone sponsor. The lesser of two evils – no, just two plain aural evils – all hope is lost!
