Hey all,

I've got a pair of k270 studio headphones I've had for decades but barely used. They never got a tight enough fit on my head to get that nice bass and isolation everyone talks about. They sound great if I hold them to my head, though. I'm wondering if anyone has fixed this problem ever on AKG-style headphones, or specifically this model? Any help or ideas (short of rubber banding them to my head, lol) would be appreciated!

I'd unscrew the supports holding the suspension headband in place so you can remove it.
Then you're free to just bend the 2 steel headbands in on themselves, crossing the cups over themselves. A few little bends at a time should eventually make it a lot tighter.

Just be careful not to bend the cups away from the steel band, as the mounts are strong but not indestructible.
The steel part however can take a decent amount of bending/abuse.
