I don't think you need an amp with the M50's.... they're very easy to drive alone. I have my pair right here and I never used an amp with them. Also, since the M50's aren't a super high grade headphone - they won't really improve very much with an amp.
Perhaps you should look into buying a DAC if anything. But if I were you I'd enjoy the M50's the way they are and save the money for some better headphones for the future. Once you get a pair of nice but hard to drive cans, you can get an amp/dac.
I just realized I've watched 8 episodes of K-On and there have only been TWO sentences that a male has spoken... what gives? I guess japanese guys really are that boring that all the good anime's have to be about girls? haha.
and it gets even better with the second season lol..
about the amp, im aiming for ibasso T3 or something, but its too expensive..
im using it straight from my phone or through LOD on my ipod..
but i think FiiO E5 are enough for my first time lol..
it ends tomorrow T_T

Just plug the M50's into the headphone jack of your ipod. No need for amping those unless you want to see minimal differences. That $25-$35 you spend on a low-end amp could be the difference between better headphones tomorrow (or down the road).
I'm serious though. The M50's are just find without amping.
wdahm519 what headphone is in your avatar? that looks wicked cool
okay then, the M50 dont need amping,
down the road, i might, remember, might.. buy the K701 to reminds me of mio
