i know that the s500 is on ear and the s770 is over. i know the price difference. but i want reviews based on expierience. and i would love it if people would say why they chose whatever. please talk about sound leakage, bass, mids, and highs, and comfortableness. if anyone has used both of these please compare them!
Thanks,
wburton

I bought the ha-s770 just because they were on sale and i like jvc, seemed like it would make a good portable because of how they fold and that part is true. The headphones sound isn't so great stock. Lots of muddy bass that overpowers everything but after adding some vents the bass is more controlled. Most defiantly a basshead's dream hp.

Now the reason i never use them is for being a over ear design they are horribly small, hardly fit my ears inside and its very uncomfortable. Modding the pads is necessary unless you have child size ears and even still they just are not comfortable. The drivers are awaiting transplant.
